About us
The Blue Ridge Bull Terrier Club, Inc. (BRBTC) works with animal shelters, rescue professionals and veterinary centers located in New England and the Mid-Atlantic regions. All Blue Ridge rescue dogs receive routine veterinary care, including spay/neuter, before adoption. BRBTC does not euthanize dogs because they need extensive medical treatments or surgeries for conditions from which they can recover. The only situations for which euthanasia is used is if a Bull Terrier displays threatening behavior towards people or if a dog is so ill it cannot recover. Otherwise, no matter how old a dog is, Blue Ridge will take them and care for them until they can be evaluated, matched and placed in a permanent home. The BRBTC is a non-profit 501c3 organization.
